Marta as a Nutritionist
My European background instilled in me a love of food and drink. In Poland, where I come from, your whole life is centred around these. Whenever you see your family or friends, it always turns into a mini-feast. As a result, it was difficult to manage a healthy weight as a child. In my teenage years, I had to work really hard to figure out how to stay fit and healthy while continuing to embrace my cultural heritage.
How did it all start for me?
When at the age of 20, I permanently moved to London, UK, I took on a new career, started doing a degree and put myself under a lot of pressure to stay active. I wanted to avoid falling into the trap of the sedentary lifestyle of an office worker. I continued with swimming and walking, took up dancing and started cycling. I did maintain my stamina, but not my health! In my late twenties, I ended up having a serious accident, which took me out of action for three months.
That incident provided me with some precious time required to establish what is important. It helped me re-evaluate my situation, find a balance between my work and personal life, and choose a new direction. I changed careers, moved out of the big city and started living a healthier slower life. I focused on the nutrition aspects of cooking as a hobby and continued with my physical exercise.

I have now almost achieved what I wanted in my corporate career – I obtained a Chartered Project Professional accreditation. Working in such a challenging role and stressful environment, meant that I had to discover the best tools and tricks to maintain excellent personal health alongside this. I, therefore, would like to share my experience from the last 10 years and help others on their journeys. I completed a master’s in Sports and Exercise Nutrition to solidify my knowledge and I run my own business providing nutrition and healthy living advice.
Now, I’m here to support you
I will support you in your search for a balanced diet specific to your body’s needs, a lifestyle that will help you feel better about yourself and have more energy to face the world. It will be up to you to make the changes, but I will provide you with science-based guidance, support and encouragement to make the changes sustainable and long-lasting.
